Mocked by some, envied by others, Issa (Salim Daw), the old fisherman, lives a simple single life in Gaza without caring much about the gazes and comments of those around him. He falls in love with the seamstress Siham (Hiam Abbas), but he never has the courage to tell her about his love. One night, while fishing at night as usual, he comes across a huge phallic sculpture of the Greek god Apollo caught in his net: a prophecy for a happy life by the power of love? He decides to keep it secretly, hoping that his discovery will change his life forever. A fairy tale about the possibility of love and hope in a city plagued by wars, extreme poverty and constant siege.
