Join the ALFILM Team as an Intern!

Duration: March & April
Workload: 30 hours/week
Compensation: 400€/month
What We Offer: A welcoming team, a creative work environment, and valuable hands-on experience in festival production.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with organizational and administrative tasks.
  • Supporting text editing and proofreading processes.
  • Updating and managing website content.
  • Handling general office tasks and communication with cinemas and filmmakers.
  • Providing on-site support at cinemas during the festival.
  • Assisting with guest and volunteer management.

Your Profile:

  • Mandatory Internship: Enrolled in a BA or MA program (e.g., Film Studies, Translation Studies, or related fields).
  • Strong proficiency in at least two languages at B2 level or higher (English, Arabic and/or German preferred).
  • Passionate about event organization, with ideally some prior experience in the cultural or event sector.
  • A strong interest in the film and media industry.
  • A precise, proactive, and independent work style, with excellent organizational skills.
  • A team player who values collaboration.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills for internal teamwork and external correspondence.
  •  Experience with WordPress is a plus.
